Trust and transparency
Editorial policy
Stern Pro Tax publishes educational material about U.S. tax filing and cross-border compliance. This page explains how that information is prepared and maintained.
Last reviewed
Primary sources first
For technical claims, we prioritize current IRS, FinCEN and other primary government instructions. Each substantial guide links to the official sources used so readers can verify the underlying rule.
Human review and scope
Our team reviews the relevance and presentation of each guide before publication. Content is designed to explain common issues and questions; it does not replace an analysis of a reader’s entity, residence, income, records or filing history.
Updates and corrections
We update a guide when a material source, rule or explanation changes. If you identify a factual error, email s@sternprotax.com with the page URL and supporting source; we will review it and correct material issues.
Not individualized advice
Tax outcomes are fact-specific and can change with the tax year and jurisdiction. Do not act on a guide alone where deadlines, penalties, ownership, residency or tax payments are at issue. Use the consultation to discuss your facts securely.
